How do I register my child to play?

All Rugby League registrations are completed online - You will need an NRL MySideline account to register to participate in Rugby League. To make registration as seamless as possible, create a MySideline player profile now and verify your email address.

1. Go to https://www.playrugbyleague.com/ to Register (profile must be created under parent/guardian details)
2. Follow the prompts and check your Inbox for your verification Link
3. Return to https://www.playrugbyleague.com/ to continue to register your player
    

• For New Players: Please make sure your child's online profile has their Birth Certificate uploaded for ID purposes. The name on their birth certificate MUST match their registration name.
• ALL Players profiles must have a current photo uploaded. The photo needs to be a passport style image - a front on photo, displayed from shoulders up with no hats etc).
• From December 1st 2023 upon registering for the upcoming Junior Rugby League season, you will be required to pay the compulsory insurance components. The amount will vary based on the participants age and once the payment has been completed the play will be immediately covered to train and play for the entire season. This insurance portion of registration is NOT REFUNDABLE but can be transported with the participant should a transfer of clubs be required. 

What are our Club Fees and inclusions?

The 2026 registration fees are below (doesn’t include insurance fees).  

Season fees are reviewed every season to ensure we cover the growing impact of inflation and rising operational costs. Your child’s registration helps cover a wide range of essential expenses that keep our club running smoothly and ensure every player has a great experience. Registration includes:

• Full playing kit (jersey, shorts, and socks) plus training shirt
• Presentation day team photo, costs and awards
• Club and field maintenance, including equipment and facility upkeep
• General running costs that ensure safe, fun, and well-organised sessions

How do I use my Fairplay Voucher? 

Caloundra Sharks JRLC is registered for FairPlay Vouchers. To apply or find out more information, refer to this link: https://www.qld.gov.au/recreation/sports/funding/fairplay/apply. Eligible children and young people can apply for a voucher valued up to $200, which can be redeemed by using the link below. Once received, the Club Reigstrar will email a ‘Club Discount Code’ that you add when paying for your registration online.

What happens if I need a refund?

Due to initial outlay of costs refunds will only be issued in certain circumstances and on a case by case basis. If a refund is permitted, you will receive paid registration fees minus mysideline fees. Important to note: Player Insurance is non-refundable.
